Flexible Options for All Families
Before Care
In the morning the children help prepare for the day (filling water jugs and dish pans or preparing snacks) with our Assistant Teacher in the Children’s house. Children may bring breakfast and eat it independently at the snack table if the morning has not allowed them to have it yet. They also have access to arts materials, crafts or games and books.
After Care
In the after-school program, children share a snack and then work or have individual or group activities inside or outside. There is an emphasis on art, literacy and nature during this time of day. Children may also take care of their Children’s House if they elect to do so: water plants, refill materials or take care of their pets.
Drop In
With advance warning, drop-in service is available for children before and after school. This option is charged on an hourly rate at $15/hr per time requested.
