Our Board of Directors

A Board of Directors, made up of parent volunteers and community members, runs Mississippi Valley Montessori School. The Board, in consultation with the parents, elects the open positions on the Board annually. Each Board member is asked to serve at least two years in the position they were elected to represent. The Board votes on all matters and decisions regarding Mississippi Valley Montessori's procedures, budgets, and policies during its monthly meeting held on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Any issues or concerns regarding the policies and procedures at Mississippi Valley Montessori School may be brought to any member of the Board so that it may be added to the meeting agenda for the following month. If the issue or concern requires a more expedient decision by the Board, an emergency meeting may be called if the Board determines this is necessary.
